A surname search and one copy of that surname from the index is available for two dollars ($2.00)per surname, either mailed or emailed to you.  Donations should be mailed to DeKalb County Genealogical Society, P. O. Box 681087, Fort Payne, AL 35968-1612.

For actual copies of the original papers, please contact a local researcher (see below if you don't know anyone locally).  There may be additional fees for copying, postage, and handling of original forms, but these usually will not exceed ten dollars.

For Your Information:  These same records are found in a 3 volume book set from Tommy Guice and  in a 2 volume book set from Dorothy Duff of the Delta Genealogical Society--all are softback, spiral or stitched style and include all registered names taken from the index book.  (See above for Mr. Guice's mailing address.)

They are now available on microfilm for rent from any Family History Center (of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints); locate one near you at www.familysearch.org .   These same microfilms may be viewed at DeKalb County Public Library, 504 Grand Ave. N., Fort Payne, AL 35967.
